Aviatrix Second Chance

Released in March 2026, Second Chance keeps the Aviatrix plane and progression but changes one rule: when your plane explodes, you may get to keep flying. The studio publishes 97.5% RTP, the highest in the family, and rates it high volatility.

The one new rule

In the original game, an explosion ends the round and the stake is gone. In Second Chance, some crashed rounds are granted a second take-off: the plane relaunches and the multiplier starts climbing again for the same stake, giving you another chance to cash out. The studio describes it as about half of players in each round getting the second flight, and the game decides, not the player.

Everything else is Aviatrix: the plane you own, levels, tournaments, the provably-fair system.

What it does to the maths

The studio publishes 97.5% RTP for Second Chance against 97% for the original, so the house edge is half a point lower. But the shape of the results changes more than the average does:

  • Fewer total losses. Roughly half of what would have been lost rounds become second flights, and some of those are cashed out.
  • Bigger swings. To pay for the second flights, the first flight has to explode sooner more often, and the multipliers you reach on either flight are more spread out. The studio rates volatility high, versus medium for the original.

In practice sessions feel less punishing round to round and more punishing hour to hour. If you use a fixed low cash-out target, the second flight gives you a second attempt at the same target. If you aim high, you get two long shots per stake instead of one.

Should you play it instead of the original?

If you like the Aviatrix progression and want a slightly better RTP with a less brutal round-to-round feel, yes. If you want predictable sessions where the cost is spread thinly, the original with a fixed 1.3–1.5x target is still the calmer choice. Neither one beats the house edge; the Aviatrix strategy page explains why that is not the point of choosing.

Where to play it

As of October 2026, 22Bet (an international brand) publishes a Second Chance page. Kenyan-licensed operators are adding the studio’s newer titles over time; the Kenyan Aviatrix sites table notes which have it. We recommend waiting for a Kenya-licensed home rather than opening an offshore account for one game; the 1win Aviatrix page sets out why.
